This professional proficiency thesis work was carried out with the objective of determining the tax impact on the banking of imports of heavy machinery from the company ESSO TECHNOLOGIES in the period 2022. In which it was identified that the company did not use the means of payment in accordance with the Banking Law and was sanctioned with tax fines. The research methodology has a qualitative approach, because 3 interviews were carried out with professionals who work in the area of accounting, Financial Audit and Customs. This work was developed in three chapters. Chapter 1: Presentation of the problematic situation, the context in which the company operates, the description of the organization and the diagnosis of the problematic situation were presented. In chapter 2: Identification of alternatives for the problematic situation and discussion, the theoretical framework of the problematic situation was presented, the justification of the relevance of solving the problem and two alternative solutions were identified. Finally, in chapter 3: A comparison of the proposed solution alternatives was made and the chosen alternative was justified. Finally, the final conclusions and recommendations of the research work are provided.
