The purpose of this research and implementation work oriented to the case of sale of the Enel Perú conglomerate is to show the viability of executing alternatives for segmentation and grouping of the different companies associated to the group, based on three different models: a model based on operational synergy, a model based on the reduction of output costs and a model based on the reduction of administrative burdens. These proposed models will seek to answer to the necessity of improvement in Enel's offer, in the face of its imminent departure from Peruvian territory, complying with the minimum expected return, analyzing the additional individual benefits obtained through the selected model, finally categorizing the level of benefit obtained, from highest to lowest, according to the results obtained for each proposed alternative. In order to carry out the following evaluation, foundations established by the International Financial Reporting Standards 1, 3, 5 and 13 were applied, in order to carry out measurements on the financial statements of the main companies of the group, analyze their results, compare them with the present proposals in the market, simulate consolidations and formulate grouping alternatives that maximize the financial value of the proposal to the market. Additionally, financial ratios were applied as an accessory guide in order to complement the information revealed in the financial statements, in order to evaluate the position of the acquirers, and evaluate their situation considering market expectations.
