The Harawi Restoration project is a work promoted by the economic stimuli of the Peruvian State, which consists of the renewal of photographic archives made by the author César Vivanco between the eighties and nineties periods of the last century; filmmaker and visual anthropologist from the city of Cusco, who also directs the Harawi Cultural Association, where he reserves a large part of the material from his research and visual proposals on Andean studies. This Professional Proficiency Work will seek to address an essential part of the vital processes for such a restoration challenge, in which the student Diego Vargas Acua carried out part of the work competence in the editing area along with other collaborations and services for the project. Firstly, the general context of the aforementioned Harawi Archive will be reviewed, relating the importance of the archives to the general purposes of the restoration project, which in this case would be the documentary called “Ecology and Environment in the Andes”. Secondly, three specific variables will be analyzed, which are Audiovisual Narratives, Audiovisual Languages and Audiovisual tools or Technologies; all of this in a matter of the progress and testimony of the data that was progressively reviewed and collected for the project; providing examples and concepts for your understanding. Thirdly, a general conclusion will be made to review the final intention of the research, our contribution to the academic community, and a final reflection on the preservation projects.
