Sudamericana de Fibras S.A. (SDF) was established in 1992, with the purpose of enhancing efficiency and productivity in the production of acrylic fibers. The research focuses on a critical issue related to SDF's export logistics management, specifically in the communication and transmission of documents between the customs agent and SDF, which has led to misunderstandings and delays. Furthermore, the lack of up-to-date information on cargo arrival deadlines at the port has resulted in additional costs, such as overstay and vessel rollovers. The most affected functional area by this problem is Foreign Trade, and its impact directly extends to the company's value chain, as delays negatively affect the delivery of products to international customers. To address this issue, three alternatives have been proposed: the implementation of the SAP ERP technology tool, the recruitment and selection of new cargo and customs agents, and the utilization of the Chancay Megaport. The choice to use the Chancay Megaport as a solution is based on its capacity to address these issues and enhance the efficiency of SDF's export operations. This option aligns with SDF's vision of being a global leader and has the necessary resources for implementation. The methodology employed for this research is qualitative and will be carried out through interviews and exploratory document analysis.
