In an increasingly interconnected world, international logistics plays a crucial role in the global economy, where delays in the delivery process can have a significant impact on customer competitiveness and satisfaction. In this context, this Professional Sufficiency Work (TSP) focuses on addressing the problem of delays in the logistics chain of DHL, a leading company in the sector. After a thorough analysis, key causes were identified, such as lack of staff training, inefficiencies in internal processes, technological constraints and challenges in interdepartmental communication. To solve this problem, three alternatives were considered: optimization of internal processes, additional staff training and implementation of an Intelligent Supply Chain Management System (ISCM). Following a comparative analysis, ISCM was chosen as the most appropriate solution due to its alignment with the organization's objectives, its viability and its ability to deliver long-term benefits. The operational, administrative and financial implications of the chosen alternative, as well as recommendations for similar situations in the future, are discussed. In short, this Professional Sufficiency Work (TSP) focuses on improving DHL’s efficiency and competitiveness in the international logistics market through the implementation of advanced technology and effective training practices.
