The project proposed as the subject of the thesis manages to solve a recurring problem in university housing for university students who come from the province, abroad or from other districts far from their study centers in the central Lima sector, which is where the largest number of universities and therefore there is a greater demand from users, focusing on the district of San Isidro, which is focused on meeting the demand of the UP and UPC universities. The project seeks to create a connection with the city and the adjacent environment, making it part of the area with equipment that is also for public use such as commercial or recreational, and cultural for other university students who do not necessarily live in collective housing, but rather have the option to all benefit from the same project. The objective of the collective housing for students is to provide private areas designed for the main user who are university students, in addition to providing recreational, cultural and sports equipment within this hybrid building, giving them the option of being able to function and grow, on the other hand They implement integration spaces between residents, at meeting points during each tour and through facades as living spaces to create connections between users. The intention of the project is for it to become a landmark in the area, providing equipment for the general public and serving as a meeting point for university students as well as for the entire neighboring community.
