The present work is based on the investigation of the criteria and guidelines to be taken in the development of the professional project of a public primary and secondary school in the district of Villa Maria del Triunfo, achieving interaction between students and the community. The starting point is the need for better school infrastructures, the decadence of the educational system, and the levels of poverty and illiteracy that have not changed in recent years. On the other hand, the number of adolescents who neither study nor work amounts to 15.1% of the population between 14 and 19 years of age, one of the causes of school dropout being lack of motivation and difficulty in learning. This is related to the low quality of school infrastructure, since according to the Development Bank of Latin America, the impact of a good infrastructure leads to the reduction of dropout rates and is reflected in school performance. That is why not only an improvement of infrastructure is proposed, but also a rethinking in the way of making schools, forgetting the traditional way and giving way to new spatialities. Being the emphasis of the project the learning streets, it seeks to give greater flexibility and permeability to the project, both inside the classrooms and corridors, as well as outside, opening to the community.
