The development of financial capabilities is extremely important for people, since it allows individuals in a society to have the knowledge, attitudes and behaviors necessary to make informed financial decisions, that is, those that are appropriate. By understanding how digital financial services work, users can evaluate different options and choose the best solutions according to their financial needs and goals. This takes on special relevance in the current context of digitalization where financial services can be somewhat more complex, and analyzing them will lead to understanding how these services are transforming the financial scenario, and how they can benefit society in general. Likewise, it is essential to analyze them to address challenges related to security, privacy and regulation in a constantly evolving world in terms of digitalized finance. The purpose of this work is to analyze the relationship between the use of digital financial services and financial education, along with control variables such as age, gender, socioeconomic level, demographic area, and level of education. That is, how much financial education influences the use of digital financial services in Peruvians. According to past research, financial education has an important and positive role in the use of digital financial services, because it reduces the cost and time of banking transactions and other services such as online payments. Likewise, it is considered a key element for the inclusion and financial health process. While digital financial services have made it possible to serve the population usually excluded due to distance issues, to places where authorities and institutions do not easily reach. Therefore, the socioeconomic indicators were created with the help of the 2019 Financial Capabilities Measurement Survey, provided by the Superintendency of Banking, Insurance and AFP of Peru (SBS) to develop the econometric analysis, in which a Logit regression model will be used.
