La evolución de la reprepresentación del personaje femenino en las películas del universo cinematográfico Marvel

Abstract

Durante la historia del cine de superhéroes, el papel de la mujer se ha visto representado con características de inferioridad y sumisión, además que la presencia de hombres superhéroes es mucho mayor que el de la mujer superheroína. La representación de la mujer superheroína se le ha visto sexualizada sus trajes, sin embargo, hoy en día, se observa que está cambiando dicho concepto. Por ello, el presente trabajo de investigación analiza la evolución de la representación del personaje femenino en las películas del universo cinematográfico Marvel, teniendo como objetivo identificar el arco de transformación, construcción del personaje y acciones del personaje. La investigación consiste en el análisis de contenido de cinco películas Marvel, Iron Man (2008), Iron Man 2 (2010), Guardianes de la Galaxia (2014), Guardianes de la Galaxia Vol.2 (2017), y Avengers: Infinity War (2018).

During the history of superhero cinema, the role of women has been represented with characteristics of inferiority and submission, in addition to the fact that the presence of superhero men is much greater tan the superhero women. The representation of the superheroine woman has been sexualized her costumes, however, nowadays, it is seen that it is changing that concept. Therefore, this research paper analyzes the evolution of the representation of the female character in the films of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, aiming to identify the arc of transformation, character construction and actions of the character. The research consists of the content analysis of five Marvel films, Iron Man (2008), Iron Man 2 (2010), Guardianes de la Galaxia (2014), Guardianes de la Galaxia Vol.2 (2017), and Avengers: Infinity War (2018).
