The present investigation aims to analyze the use of vocabulary in a case of racism in social networks through comments written by Facebook users. It seeks to determine a taxonomy of the vocabulary used by these users and the characteristics of public opinion in the case. 150 comments selected in a convenience sampling of the fan page of the Peruvian newspaper “El Comercio“ were analyzed, regarding the case to the statements of Congresswoman Martha Chávez in September 2020. The content analysis and Racism was found to be the most repetitive subcategory as a privilege. The study allows to open the debate on a normalization of the use of racist vocabulary from a supposed biotypical privilege to exercise it.
