Leadership has become a key part of the growth of different organizations; therefore, this has been important for the process of digital transformation. Currently, this topic becomes more relevant due to the COVID-19 situation, which has been driving organizations to transform digitally to remain current in the market. Taking these data into account, the main purpose of the following report is based on evidencing the differences in the positions of various authors in relation to how leadership influences the digital transformation of organizations. For this reason, a qualitative research was carried out where the main approaches to leadership and digital transformation were identified. Consequently, we looked at books and articles that were between quartiles one and two of Scimago and Journal Citation Reports, less than five years old. This collected information was analysed from the matrices found at the end of this work. The guidelines used in this study conform to the standards of the Peruvian University of Applied Sciences for the development of Professional Sufficiency Work (TSP). Thus, it was possible to conclude then that leadership is a main agent for the achievement of digital transformation, since incorrect management of this process can be detrimental to the company.
