In recent years, the world has gone through various situations, including the Covid-19 pandemic, which confined us to our homes. Based on this, companies and/or brands allocated a larger budget to digital channels with the aim of improving the user shopping experience, while delivery apps played an important role in the confinement, since it was the main delivery medium. Likewise, supermarkets adapted to the new shopping style of customers, and traditional restaurants were transformed into dark kitchens. The objective of this study is to determine if there is a direct relationship between Word of Mouth (WOM), continuous intention to use, trust and the recovery of the service in the use of delivery apps in the restaurant category by users of 18 to 35 years in Metropolitan Lima in the year 2022. For this, a quantitative investigation was carried out through surveys carried out by 201 people corresponding to the target audience of the study. The results of the study discovered that the average purchase frequency is between 1 to 3 times per month, due to the fact that they do not feel valued by the app, mainly due to the delay in the delivery of the order. In addition, the main reason for the interest of users is the promotions they find in the application. It is proposed for further research to analyze other variables such as convenience, brand loyalty and design (UI).
