The main objective of this research work is to determine the financial impact of the implementation of digital financial services in the Municipal Savings and Loans Associations of Peru, in 2021. Therefore, this research work is divided into five chapters. Chapter I is related to the theoretical framework, in which the relevant information from academic sources is collected, which provides us with information regarding Digital Financial Services, Financial Impact and the microfinance sector, in which the Municipal Savings and Loans Associations are part, among other important concepts for the present investigation. Chapter II is related to the research plan, in which the problem is described and formulated; the importance of this research is justified, as well as the limitations that it has, and the objectives and hypotheses are also determined. In Chapter III, the research methodology is described, in other words, it establishes how the qualitative and quantitative research will be done. In Chapter IV, which is about the development of the research, the in-depth interviews and the results of the surveys were transcribed. Finally, in Chapter V, which deals with the analysis of the research results, the respective analysis of the qualitative and quantitative research was made, the hypotheses were validated, and the conclusions and recommendations were provided.
