Peruvian agricultural exports have undergone a significant boom during the last two decades up to the present, especially the fruit category. However, along with this, security threats to the logistics chain of agro-export companies have also been increasing, such as robberies, illicit drug trafficking, money laundering, terrorism, among others. Due to this, the companies decided to look for an ally that ensures their operations and guarantees traceability, thus maintaining the continuity of their international logistics chain, applying for BASC certification, a global organization founded in 1997, with the main purpose of promoting safe practices and culture of safety prevention throughout the logistics chain. The main goal of this thesis is to assess the impact of BASC certification on the logistical flow of Peruvian agro exporting firms shipping Super Fruits to the US market from 2017 to 2022. The following factors will be considered for the independent variable “BASC Certification“: safety, relationship with business partners, and prevention and treatment of events. For the development of the research, a quantitative approach was used with a correlational scope and a non-experimental cross-correlational design. The instrument applied was questionnaires with a Likert scale to 28 agro-exporting companies, previously validated by 3 experts in the field from BASC and APN, and the Cronbach's Alpha reliability test resulted in 0.934, which means that it is highly reliable and the same can be applied.
