This thesis aims to analyze a sustainable concrete using sugarcane bagasse ash (SCBA) as a partial substitute for cement. Currently there are a number of by-products that are used as supplementary cementation materials in concrete to reduce the cement content. Cement production consumes a significant amount of limited natural resources and energy. In addition, it releases large amounts of CO2 emissions into the environment. Due to this, this research seeks to promote the use of SCBA in partial replacement of cement due to its pozzolanic properties. Therefore, this research was carried out, in which the use of cement is partially replaced by SCBA for the manufacture of a sustainable concrete with f'c of 210 Kg/cm2. At the same time, it seeks to improve the physical and mechanical properties of concrete. This thesis seeks to demonstrate the feasibility of using SCBA when making a sustainable concrete with portland cement type 1. The results of this research suggest that the slump of concrete decreases in the presence of SCBA, however; remains within workability limits. The compressive strength increases up to a replacement of 15% of SCBA, reaching an improvement in strength of up to 8.71% with the replacement of 10% of SCBA. Flexural strength increases up to a 15% replacement of SCBA, improving strength by up to 13.34% with a 10% replacement of SCBA. The tensile strength increases by 13.60% with a 10% replacement of SCBA. All the resistances reach their maximum value with the substitution of 10% of SCBA, from that substitution, the values of the resistances begin to decrease. The 20% replacement impairs the compressive, tensile and flexural strengths in all tests.
