The purpose of this work of professional sufficiency is the proposal to implement a methodology that will allow the optimization of inventory rotation in a company dedicated to the commercialization of spare parts and industrial refrigeration equipment; with the main objective of reducing demand forecast errors, safety stock levels and increasing the accuracy of inventory records, as well as complying with the customer service level policy, achieving continuous improvement over time. On the other hand, the present work of professional sufficiency aims to demonstrate that the implementation of methodologies such as warehouse and supply management through the Winters forecast, EOQ and ABC cycle count can be used for the optimization of inventories as an essential part of the supply chain of an organization whose management of its operations depends substantially on the proper management of the resources allocated for that purpose. In this sense, the selected methodologies are proposed under the academic sources that ensure the implementation of the tools and demonstrate the results in a tangible way at the level of efficiency, control, and economic benefits for this project. Therefore, the proposed study was very fruitful, since when applied it was possible to increase inventory rotation from 3.25 to 4.7 times per year. Likewise, with this result it is sought to have a better management of warehouses and purchases of spare parts in the company under study.
