The purpose of this academic work is to provide a digital, virtualized system to a conglomerate of public institutions distributed throughout the Peruvian State. This system must be adjusted to their needs that meets the technical and management expectations that these institutions require to face and give support to a portion of its activities linked to the promotion and execution of projects. The problem that arises as part of this project lies in the need to digitize activities and technical resources; since currently, the target organization has problems with the performance of these resources from the planes of efficiency and little scalability or continuous growth. This not only affects the IT part, but also affects the activities that are supported by these technological resources, specifically the activities related to project management. To this end, a system based on cloud computing technology is proposed, the same technology that serves as a technical scenario for the design of a cloud model based on the Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) concept. This model houses the resources and services that are necessary to support IT operations linked to project management within the public institutions in question and which in turn are offered by a previously selected cloud provider, coming to be classified as the ideal cloud provider for the project. Finally, the proposed design is functionally validated by building a prototype.
