The objective of this research was to identify the correlation between sexting, loneliness, and social skills in students from Metropolitan Lima. The sample consisted of 164 adolescents whose ages range from 14 to 17 years, and belong to grades of 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th of secondary of public and private secondary schools. The instruments used to measure these variables were the Sexting Behavior Scale (SBS), the Jong Gierveld Loneliness Scale (LS) and the Gismero Social Skills Scale (SSS). The results show that there is a strong relationship between the variables under study. In addition, the scores in most of the dimensions are higher in women, while men have a higher score in the Active Disposition dimension. In relation to the size of the effect, a positive influence of age can be seen on the dimensions of Active disposition and Real participation.
