Abstract: Se plantea un Hospital Oncológico Pediátrico como respuesta a la necesidad de salud publica que se observa en el Perú. Este se enfoca especialmente en el diagnóstico, tratamiento y rehabilitación de niños y adolescentes hasta los 17 años, otorgando un servicio especializado en este tipo de usuarios.
El proyecto se diseña en base a una relación entre la arquitectura y el énfasis arquitectónico “Neuroarquitectura”, el cual busca generar estímulos positivos en la mente, principalmente de niños, mejorando sus habilidades cognitivas y sociales, a través de los espacios cerrados y abiertos que se diseñan a partir de conceptos de las neurociencias. Es por esto que la principal función del proyecto es lograr que los niños y adolescentes con cancer del país, tengan acceso a un establecimiento de salud especializado en sus edades y necesidades, para así lograr mejorar la experiencia perceptiva, visual, sensorial y la estadía de los pacientes, mediante el uso de la arquitectura y el impacto que genera el encontrarse en un ambiente armonioso y confortable.

This focuses especially on the diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of children and adolescents up to 17 years of age, providing a specialized service for this type of user.
