In the construction sector, process optimization is an important point in the execution of a project. Our country is no stranger to this and new work methodologies and new trends have been progressively adopted in recent years. One of the new trends that is gaining strength worldwide is the use of prefabricated elements in the construction sector. In other words, increasing the number of prefabricated elements in a project can alleviate the workload on site, considerably reducing labor and material resources. Likewise, it can allow reducing the times in the execution of games with pre-fabricated ones. In the present work, the analysis of the use of pre-slabs and pre-beams as pre-fabricated elements will be carried out compared to conventional methods applied to a building project in the city of Lima. It is worth mentioning that, for its development, the tools and concepts of the Lean Construction methodology and the Project Management Body of Knowledge ((PMBOK® Guide 7th edition, 2021). guide will be applied. In principle, the analysis of the building project is carried out applying the conventional method in slabs and beams where the most incident items of the budget will be identified. Then, the construction process will be developed, defining the sectorization and the time that the structure stage will require from the basement levels to the upper floors. The previous steps are also applied to the same project, but using the pre-slab and pre-beam method. Finally, having obtained these data, we proceed to analyze the costs of the most incident items and make an economic and temporal comparison. Also, it allows us to understand and obtain better decision-making at the managerial level for the approval of the use of prefabricated elements in a project.
