One of the main non-traditional agricultural export products is mango, which is destined for countries of the European Union and the United States, in addition, demand for Korea, China and Japan has increased. Peru has reinforced export promotion policies, where SMEs benefit and through programs such as Ruta Exportadora, which expand internationalization opportunities. The objective of this study is to determine if there is a relationship between participation in the Export Route program and mango export performance in the Ancash region during 2018-2021. The proposed dimensions were: (i) informative support, (ii) operational support and (iii) Motivational support that includes export performance. The research approach is mixed, with a non-experimental cross-sectional design and correlational scope. In the qualitative phase, 10 interviews were conducted with key stakeholders (producers, workers and representatives of Promperú) and the data was analyzed with the Atlas Ti program. In the quantitative phase, 26 representatives of Mango exporting SMEs in the Ancash region and representatives of Promperú were surveyed. For this, an instrument of 22 items on a 5-point Likert scale was applied and the data were analyzed in the SPSS Statistics program. The qualitative analysis showed that the Information Support Consulting and Training indicator had greater roots and density, which shows its relevance in export performance, however, the rest of the indicators do not suggest the relationship between both variables. In the quantitative analysis, according to Spearman's Rho correlation coefficient (0.262), the correlation was weak, and the p-value was 0.19, which indicates that there is no relationship between the participation in the Export Route and the Performance Exported to despite the fact that 92.3% of SMEs considered that the company's performance has been very satisfactory.
