The El Paraíso project is the response of a macro-level study on the situation of the archaeological sites in Lima, where the most problematic area located in the northern part of Lima was detected, the problem is concentrated in the Chillón river valley, in the lower area, there is an urban fabric that is consuming the archaeological fabric that presents the archaeological complex settled in this territory known as “Tradition El Paraíso“ that brings together the sites Cerro Culebras, Pampa de Los Perros and El Paraíso. These were part of the same society that today has lost that close relationship due to the aforementioned problem, which has taken place drastically in El Paraíso after a construction company destroyed one of the 12 pyramids that this place has. It is for this reason that continuity of an archaeological route tied to the Inca roads that cross this archaeological landscape is proposed, to retake the link of El Paraíso society and create a space that commemorates and produces a reflection and awareness of the archaeological heritage that owns our city.
