This research work seeks to analyze whether there is a relationship between data analytics and human resources management in medium and large companies in the metal-mechanic sector in Metropolitan Lima 2022. The focus of the study is quantitative, with a type of applied research being correlational in scope and the research design is non-experimental, transactional or cross-sectional. The instrument used to obtain the data was a survey, with 43 40 questions based on the dimensions of the research variables and 3 sociodemographic questions, with a Likert scale, validated by three experts. The reliability of the tool was determined with the Cronbach's Alpha Coefficient. To determine the population, inclusion and exclusion criteria were used: medium and large metal-mechanic companies with more than 100 workers, type of operating personnel. From a population of 2,276 workers, the simple random sampling technique was applied, identifying 327 workers to be surveyed from 16 companies in the metal-mechanic sector of Metropolitan Lima. As a result, it was obtained that data analytics and its dimensions HR analytics, Big Data, people analytics and BI tools have a direct and positive relationship with human resources management; however, the relationship with the analytical dimension of people is low. In conclusion, it is considered that those metalworking companies with more people analytics do not have a significant relationship with human relations management. Nevertheless; Companies that apply HR analytics, Big Data and BI tools have a direct and significant relationship with human resource management.
