This article presents a proposal of the Lean Service methodology implementation in a medical equipment distribution and sales company, which aims to improve the quality of customer service by identifying activities that do not add value in the area of technical service in the repair process, reducing the evaluation and repair time of the equipment. The improvement proposal considers a series of stages, starting from the commitment of the leaders of the organization, implementation of lean systems tools such as Current Value Stream Mapping, 5S, process management, Work standardization, Heijunka and the elaboration of Value Stream Mapping future, establishment of indicators and ends with the implementation of quality circles as a tool for continuous improvement. As a result, a reduction in the review and repair time of the equipment is obtained by 45% and consequently an improvement in the delivery time of the medical equipment by 43%. In this way, the tools implemented and the results evidenced in the article can serve as a reference for new researchers seeking to increase productivity in other companies in the services sector.
