The objectives of this research are to determine an improvement in the consistency of the concrete mix of f'c =210 kg/cm2, the compressive strength and the most optimal percentage in the tests carried out in the fresh and hardened state of the concrete by adding 0.5%, 0.75% and 1% of dehydrated aloe in relation to the weight of the cement. To measure the consistency, the slump test was carried out using the Abrams cone method, for which the concrete mix was designed using the ACI method and adding percentages of dehydrated aloe per batch. For the investigation, 9 specimens were made with normal concrete (standard sample) and 27 specimens with concrete divided into 3 groups according to the percentage of dehydrated aloe vera, that is, 9 specimens adding 0.50%, 9 specimens adding 0.75% and 9 specimens adding 1%, all with respect to the cement weight. Giving a total of 36 specimens. An improvement in consistency was found by increasing its slump by an average of 15% with respect to the standard sample, an increase in compressive strength of 10.77%, 0.19% and a maximum decrease of 2.86% with respect to the standard sample was obtained at 7, 14 and 28 days respectively by adding dehydrated aloe vera at 0.5% in relation to the weight of the cement. When analyzing the results, it was concluded that the best dosage is 0.5% dehydrated aloe vera because it is the percentage where an increase in slump and compressive strength was obtained.
