Given that virtualization has become in recent years a fundamental piece for technological advancement and development, this is thanks to the fact that with its level of hardware abstraction it can help at all levels to use computational resources efficiently. This thesis analyzes the different virtualization variables that are both software and hardware, taking into account for this from the servers to the access terminals for the application virtualization platforms, developing a thorough investigation both at a theoretical and technical level with tests of performance on the equipment in question. The cornerstone for application virtualization to prosper effectively is to optimize configurations and estimate both hardware and software in a scalable and solvent manner, given that different results are obtained according to the convergence of these technologies, as obtained in the performance tests, all this focusing on the user load and the level of concurrency, exemplifying it during the development of the investigation, in addition, aspects such as the security treaty for virtualization of the CSA (Cloud Security Alliance) are taken into account, providing a stronghold at the level of the application virtualization ecosystem that is being developed to house the entire technological platform.
