The agricultural sector in Peru is one of the most influential pillars in the production of Latin American countries, even tough is one of the sectors that takes less advantage of the disruptive technologies of industry 4.0, in addition to this, there is a big disinformation gap between micro and small organizations, causing inefficiency due to bad practices employed in the production process. This research proposes the use of artificial intelligence, developing a chatbot capable of giving relevant and trustworthy information about the feeding and care of farm animals based on reliable documentation that ensures livestock producers improve their production quality and efficiency. The chatbot is developed in Watson Assistant platform, that has an intelligent search engine that is used to strengthen the responses provided by the chatbot and it is deployed on WhatsApp, Facebook and a Web. Eventually, the validation was carried out with 13 livestock producers, who participated on tests cases of the production process with the chatbot as a tool to get specific information about feeding and care of farm animals, where it demonstrate that the time of attention of queries is improved in comparison with the zootechnical specialist by 768%, the reliability based on the resulting sources of information is more reliable than the information found on the internet, showed that the information provided is relevant and there was a 100% acceptance about this solution as a new information channel to make inquiries about food and care of farm animals.
