Peru has been a country that in recent years, due to the various treaties it has obtained with countries around the world, has generated that the level of its exports is on the rise. Focusing on the side of non-traditional exports specifically, these have been seen on the rise. In fact, according to the Central Reserve Bank of Peru, non-traditional exports would present an average growth of 17.2% per year. What this research work seeks is to be able to determine what will be the impact of fluctuations in the real exchange rate on the growth of non-traditional exports. For this, an ARDL model will be used, and quarterly data from the year 2000 to the year 2019 is considered. Similarly, the following variables are considered: non-traditional exports, Peruvian GDP, world GDP, imports of supplies and capital goods , real exchange rate, volatility of the real exchange rate. As main results it was possible to obtain that the volatility of the real exchange rate will be insignificant for the Peruvian case, therefore, this will not generate a significant impact on the level of non-traditional Peruvian exports. However, the real exchange rate will be significant and negative, but only in the long term. Regarding the variables Peruvian GDP, world GDP and imports of supplies and capital goods, these did turn out to be significant in the short and long term.
