Lima, in recent years presents several problems due to the conventional construction process of excavation and filling of trenches, due to the constant changes or repairs of the sanitation networks, this is associated both with the age of the networks and population growth. At present, innovative and sustainable alternatives are needed to reduce the problems caused by conventional granular filling in excavations. This research proposes the use of fluid filling due to the multiple advantages offered by this material. On the one hand, it is economical for medium to large trench fill volumes, labor savings (done with a small number of workers), in equipment (does not require the rental or purchase of compaction equipment) and in time (emptying is done by directly pumping the mixture, from the mixing machines to the excavation). On the other hand, being self-compacting and self-leveling significantly modified the width of the trenches, reducing excavation and filling volumes, which, in turn, incur money savings. Also, this material guarantees safety on site; since, no people are required inside the excavation. Similarly, fill in poorly accessible areas without any problem. Dosages were established for ten fluid filling mixtures, of which the two best were chosen based on the most important properties of the fluid filling and will be used as an alternative solution for the optimization of excavation and trench filling works. This was verified through a technical-economic analysis.
