The purpose of this study is to examine the evidence of internal structure validity, convergent validity, and internal consistency of the Coronavirus Psychological Impact Questionnaire in adults in Metropolitan Lima by Sandín et al.; For this, the type of research used was instrumental, carried out in 528 adults between men and women from 19 to 60 years of age. The internal structure analysis was carried out for each of the 4 scales: Use of the Communication Media (UMC), Coronavirus Fear Scales (EMC), Distress Scale (ED) and Scale of Positive Effects in the Face of Adversities (EEPA). ), finding that in the scale of UMC, ED and EEPA, it is confirmed that it is a one-dimensional structure in agreement with the original structure; while for the Coronavirus Fear Scale (EMC) a new structure of 3 factors was proposed, economic aspects, contagion and isolation.
