The medical internship is the stage of the career in which the student takes a step forward and takes responsibility in order to apply what he/she has learned in each of the main medical specialties. The selected clinical cases are a small sample of what was experienced in this stage. The cases that had the greatest personal and professional impact during the medical internship at the Hospital Nacional Dos de Mayo and the Hospital María Auxiliadora were chosen. Objective: To describe and perform a critical analysis of the most significant clinical cases in my training both as a health professional and as a person, during the medical internship. Methodology: This is a descriptive and analytical study of the clinical experience obtained during the medical internship in the period June 2022 - January 2023. Results: 30 clinical cases are presented of which 14 are from surgical specialties, 5 from gynecology and obstetrics, 5 from pediatrics and 6 from internal medicine. The opportunity to be a key part in the patients care and interact with them daily, from admission to discharge has been the richest process of my training both as a health professional and as a human being. Conclusions: The medical internship is an essential training stage within the career which allows us to develop both medical and interpersonal skills, strengthen previous knowledge and give way to medical practice. I believe that we must always remember what we learned and experienced during this part of the training both positive and negative, it is our duty to extend our knowledge to new generations, always being willing to help, as it is also our responsibility to try to make a change in what we disagree.
