The research had as a general goal to review studies on stress in mental health therapists following a systematic review framework. 975 studies were reviewed from the Scopus database in relation to stress variables, therapists, mental health, and health. Eventually, following the PRISMA methodology, five articles of interest were selected. Among the research's most relevant findings, it was noted that stress in mental health therapists is an insufficiently studied variable. Most research focuses on medical doctors and other health professionals. Furthermore, most articles were written as of 2020, suggesting that since the COVID-19 pandemic, a growing concern has emerged for this issue. Finally, the limitations of this study, and recommendations for future research are noted.
