Construction is an activity as old as the human being and so associated with him that we can say that is inherent to his development and progress over time; maybe there was nothing more important for these early men, after satisfying his feeding needs, than providing themselves a place where they could be safe against inclement weather, the harassment of the beasts; a place, in imitation of other animals in nature, where they could be comfortable. This process was, step by step, improving as time and the human being went on, by working his mind and searching for innovations; achieved a product not only functional or urgent but artistic, tidy, and beautiful in the final results and in the process. Nowadays, technological advances, modern equipment, efficient machinery, and new methodology or philosophy such as BIM and LEAN among others, allow us to get a final construction product with quality, neatness, and accuracy in the most three basic aspects in every construction process: costs, time and security. In this way, this study case is about a particularly important and, unfortunately, very disregarded, and neglected issue in our country, namely home building; more precisely multi – family building. The intention of this thesis is to encourage both private and public institutions, to use these new methods, systems, or philosophies that we have at our disposal because this will get nothing but benefit everybody: the construction companies, the users of these constructions and the country itself.
