Representación de las clases en el cine del directo surcoreano Bong Joon Ho. Utilizando las películas Snowpiercer o El expreso del miedo (2013) y Parasite o Parásitos (2019)

Abstract

Este trabajo de investigación realiza la tarea en demostrar como la cinematografía forma parte del planteamiento de las diferentes clases sociales y el contraste entre estas. Este trabajo lo que se busca es mostrar, en este caso la clase alta y baja, como son representadas en las películas. Para ello se utilizará como punto de partida las muy conocidas películas Snowpiercer hecha en el año 2013 y Parasite hecha en el año 2019, ambas realizadas por el director sur coreano y ganador de varios premios, Bong Joon Ho. Al analizar estas películas se busca el objetivo de mostrar como el director representa a las clases ya sea en los rasgos, como en su forma de vestir, su alimentación, por objetos y espacios de los mismos personajes que se encuentran establecidos en estas clases. En la recolección de materiales se seleccionó en total ocho escenas específicas de cada película donde se demuestre lo dicho anteriormente. Asimismo, se utilizará como ayuda el Análisis de contenido, con lo cual según dicho por Abela (1998) es una reinterpretación de datos de trabajos que otros autores han investigado sobre este tema. Al final como instrumento se utilizará un cuadro de guía de análisis de contenido donde se explicará de las escenas recogidas como el director muestra la representación de clases.

This research work performs the task of demonstrating how cinematography is part of the approach of the different social classes and the contrast between them. What this work seeks is to show, in this case, the upper and lower classes, as they are represented in the movies. For this, the well-known films Snowpiercer will be made in 2013 and Parasite will be made in 2019, both made by the South Korean director and winner of several awards, Bong Joon Ho, will be used as a starting point. When analyzing these films, the objective is to show how the director represents the classes either in the features, as in their way of dressing, their food, by objects and spaces of the same characters that are established in these classes. In the collection of materials, a total of eight specific scenes from each film were selected where the aforementioned is demonstrated. Likewise, Content Analysis will be used as an aid, which, according to Abela (1998), is a reinterpretation of data from works that other authors have investigated on this subject. At the end, as an instrument, a content analysis guide chart will be used where the scenes collected will be explained as the director shows the representation of classes.
