The aim of this research is to determine the impact of mobile money on financial inclusion in residents of the districts of Lima Norte in 2021. The reason why the research is focused on the districts of Lima Norte is because it has been demonstrated its continuous growth during the last years, but this growth has occurred in a disorderly way and with strong limitations due to the lack of access to a formal financial system and education. For the analysis of this study, a quantitative and causal investigation was carried out on a sample of 385 residents of Lima Norte. Likewise, in order to test the hypotheses proposed, the questionnaire on Adoption and Use of Mobile Money, Trust and Financial Inclusion was applied to the mobile money and financial inclusion variables. In addition, for the main and the secondary objectives, the data obtained through a linear regression was analyzed. The results showed that mobile money has a significant impact on financial inclusion. The findings of this research are relevant and represent a great contribution to companies and financial institutions since it provides additional knowledge that can be used to increase the development of financial inclusion in Lima Norte, and as a consequence, replicate the study in other cities of the country.
