Background: The social isolation resulting from the Pandemic has caused people who practice a religion to be unable to attend churches. In response, new measures were implemented to continue the practice from a distance. Objective: To describe religious coping during social isolation due to COVID-19 in a sample of Catholic women, participants of a religious group in Metropolitan Lima. Method: A qualitative study was carried out with 8 practicing Catholic women belonging to a religious group, to whom the semi-structured interview technique was applied. Results: The participants have a functional support system, which gives them a sense of support, calm and strength; feeling safeguarded by the religious community and their families. Also, they became closer to the faith during social isolation. Finally, they positively perceived the use of positive religious coping, which gave them a sense of security. Conclusion: During isolation, the participants experienced positive religious coping that allowed them to positively reinterpret the effects of the pandemic situation.
