This research will analyze the various factors that make up the current interpretation center of the Kuélap Archaeological Complex in Amazonas, primarily architectural problems, such as the absence of spaces, for the large number of tourists who come to it, the non-existence of interpretive rooms which have different themes, for example, some rooms where the stages that defined the magnitude of said monument and the architectural and symbolic components of Kuélap can be exhibited. In the same way, it will be shown that the approach is required, in a new proposal, environments that respond to the complementary activities of tourists, either a cafeteria and a multi-activity room in which the festive customs of the residents can be carried out, will be evident. Another problem to consider is the inadequate design, that is, the inadequate architectural strategies in terms of protection from the sun's rays and the winds in the environments. According to this problem, it will be possible to recognize and propose suitable architectural solutions so that the route of tourists, artisans and workers of the current center can be better developed. Finally, the new project must achieve an integration of its architecture and the natural environment that surrounds it, through a design that can blend into the landscape through the use of local materials.
