The application of technology as a tool for performance analysis in sports is a trend that is used in different disciplines. The emergence of new and improved techniques for human motion recognition has allowed athletes to quantify and thus to have a detailed control and to closely monitor their training performance. Within these technologies, one of the most accessible is the use of inertial measurement units to collect data from the movement of the part of the body where it is placed. In the present work, the architecture for the construction of an application for mobile devices that allows complementing and monitoring boxing training using inertial measurement units embedded in the devices will be proposed and developed. For the construction of the architecture, the methodologies used, and the design decisions made to obtain the requirements of the architecture based on quality attributes will be detailed. Likewise, the fundamentals for the design of the diagrams of the different views of the system architecture will be explained. On the other hand, the methodology used for project management will be explained. Regarding the construction of the software, a mobile application was developed that uses embedded sensors to obtain movement data. This application supports two methods of data transmission, through BLE for devices (mobile or iPad) focused on trainers and through the Internet to process and save training information.
