The present project is based on the study of the proposal of the acrylic formwork to optimize the constructive deficiencies in columns of multi-family buildings. Evidencing segregation and crabbing as the most frequent pathologies that represent high repair and reprocessing costs. The objective of this project is through acrylic formwork to improve the construction process and quality of the column. In order to solve this problem, an innovative proposal and implementation were elaborated to achieve the objective. In the first chapter the theoretical framework is developed, a segment with terminology and concepts that will facilitate the understanding of the following chapters. The second chapter describes the methodology, recognition of problematic reality, analysis, problem and hypothesis. For the development of chapter three, the deficiencies related to the final quality of the column are presented. For chapter four, a technical and economic comparison of wooden, plastic and metallic formwork is presented. Chapter five shows the physical and mechanical properties of acrylic as a material and the development of efficient formwork. In addition, it includes the validation of the proposal and the results obtained.
