The objective of this research is to explore the process of acculturation in Venezuelan migrants between the ages of 25 and 35 residing in Metropolitan Lima. The design used is phenomenological with a theoretical, social, and methodological value. The results show that the most used strategies are assimilation and integration, which mean greater intrinsic resources, higher levels of well-being and better relationships with others. The main motivation for leaving their country is to find better job and economic opportunities. Their interpersonal relationships take a backseat because they prioritize work. According to the interviewees, the most difficult thing is the perceived prejudice and discrimination. Current satisfaction is variably determined by everyone’s experience. Within the limitations, there is the age of the participants, the current place of residence and the scarce research on the migratory increase of the Venezuelan population.
