The housing deficit present in Peru is one of the greatest challenges that the construction sector must cover. In the case of Metropolitan Lima, being a centralized city, the gap is much greater; However, with the development of new technologies, a means of finding support opens up. Construction 4.0 then arrives as a new concept of the industrial revolution that emerged as a result of the digitization of the industry, focusing on the construction sector. This concept proposes a change to traditional construction methods seeking the support of technologies. The 3D printing of concrete is currently one of these new technologies which can be defined as a process of joining materials layer by layer in order to make objects from a 3D data modeling. The most recent studies mention 3D printing as a new construction system in which it is possible to achieve higher productivity, reducing waste costs and reducing the delivery time of homes. For the aforementioned, this study carries out a review of the latest studies of concrete 3D printing in order to evaluate its technical and economic feasibility through a prototype, focusing on the benefits that this technology can bring to homes. social. As a final deliverable, a technical guide is developed in which the research for the management of future projects with concrete 3D printing is reflected.
