The objective of this research was to determine the relationship between resilience and life satisfaction in 77 abused women from a center in Huachipa (Medad= 37.20 years, SD = 11.23). Likewise, resilience and life satisfaction were compared between some sociodemographic variables: marital status, number of children, employment status, etc. The Spanish versions of the Resilience Scale (RS) and Satisfaction with Life Scale (SLS) were applied. The results show that a higher level of resilience is associated with a higher level of satisfaction with life (ρ = 0.52, p <.01). Likewise, with respect to the comparisons made, statistically significant differences in resilience are evidenced by more than one type of violence. The study confirms that the greater the resilience, the greater the satisfaction with life in a sample of abused women from a center in Huachipa.
