The main objective of the research work was to establish the degree of seismic vulnerability of the confined masonry dwellings analyzed, under the approach of the AIS methodology in the AA. HH. El Progreso I Sector, district of Carabayllo, in the year 2019,, the referred methodology contemplated the following constructive characteristics evaluated: geometric aspects, constructive aspects, structural aspects, foundations, environment and soil. The case study is 21 confined masonry dwellings. It was used as an instrument of data collection, observation and survey sheets, the study is quantitative with descriptive scope, supports a non-experimental design - transverse. The results of the investigation, carried out by means of descriptive analysis, using SPSS V.24 and Microsoft Excel software, indicated that the quantity of walls in both directions, quality of mortar glue joints, mooring beams or crown and confined and reinforced walls, of confined masonry dwellings, are the most vulnerable factors. It was concluded that there is a low degree of vulnerability (0%), a medium degree (28.57%) and a high degree (71.43%) in the confined masonry dwellings analysed, using the AIS methodology.
