This thesis aims to establish a guide with the necessary criteria for the analysis and design of an A36 structural steel industrial warehouse in the city of Lima, which may be subjected to different load conditions regardless of the geographical location of the project. Firstly, a compilation of the necessary theoretical foundation on the characteristics and properties of steel is presented. Furthermore, it will include the analysis and design of structural elements, with different conditions and load combinations according to current Peruvian standards and the specifications of the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) manual. After that, a model is made in the SAP2000 software according to the pre-sizing of the structural elements, from which we will obtain the loads acting on the structure that will help us design the structural elements of the industrial warehouse. In addition, the displacements of the structure will be obtained, which will be compared with the maximum allowed values. Finally, detailed plans of the designed elements of the industrial warehouse will be presented.
