The aim of the present research is to evaluate the relation between logistic performance and grape exports to Russia between the years 2007-2020. During the period studied is verified that there are fluctuations in growth in grape exports up to 2016, from this year exports start to decrease, the same is observed with Logistics Performance Index (LPI). It has been applied a quantitative approach based on the variation of the gravity model and logistic performance index (LPI), which pretend to explain the development on the grape exports to Russia through different variables as Russia and Peru’s GDP, the distance between the capital cities, and the LPI and its components Customs, Infrastructure, Ease of arranging shipments, Quality of logistics services, Tracking and tracing, and Timeliness with a non-experimental and transversal design. In this sense, data had to be collected from various national and international databases. Among the main discoveries obtained, it was shown that the LPI does affects significantly grape exports to Russia. Is evidenced in the results of the LPIs subdimensions related with grape exports to Russia, in which 1 out of 6 subdimensions are relevant to grape exports. To put it another way, LPI can be a determinant factor to the increase or decrease of grape exports as evidenced by some studies based on developing and developed countries.
