This article presents a distinction and explanation about the absence of children's spaces in Peruvian television, explained by television producers who maintained the validity of these spaces in the 1990s. Through four semi-structured interviews, each participant explained what is currently happening regarding the scarcity of Peruvian television productions. The approach given to this research work is qualitative, since it is based on interviews. To carry out this action, semi-structured questions were raised, which allow us to have clarity about the title of this project and, in this way, observe an overview of the current situation of the Peruvian television market, in case there is a possibility of returning to these productions. It cannot be denied that television programming has entered a process of decline and this situation has caused children to be harmed, because they do not have suitable spaces that allow them to adopt their cognitive and educational construction for their age. The main characteristic of this work is its contribution, due to the fact that in it the problem is perceived to establish spaces by national production companies, the scarce contribution of the State and the new entertainment proposal that has delimited the participation of the children's public.
