The following research analyzes the use of abstraction in the graphics of Peruvian video games in the last five years, to determine its characteristics, sub-styles, and the relationship with the Peruvian within the graphic style. For this, it is hypothesized that the video games 64.0 and Exit-84 present certain elements of abstract graphics that allow players to identify their Peruvian origin. The research has a maximum scope of descriptive character since during the analysis the visual elements that make up the Peruvian videogames selected to understand the role of graphic abstraction in them have been identified. Also, the tools used to come to be a game-by-game analysis card, expert interviews, and user surveys. According to the analysis carried out and found in the theoretical framework, the abstract style in video games is still valid because users can better understand the visual elements according to the level of abstraction. In addition, in the process of analyzing video games, the views of users and developers were found that various points of abstraction revolve around the geometric, synthesized, and minimalist. On the other hand, with the hypothesis, the abstract graph about the Peruvians does not allow players to identify them as video games of Peruvian origin.
