Currently, there has been an interest in electronic commerce as a result of technological development, which is why many countries seek to take advantage of the role of this type of commerce in a rapidly changing world. In this scenario, consumer empowerment has become relevant in marketing, since it is part of the feedback and control that a client has. That is why this research work covers the following topic: Client empowerment and brand communities online in relation to customer satisfaction in electronic commerce platforms. To understand the above, the research is based on three variables: Consumer Empowerment, Online Brand Communities and Customer Satisfaction, which have a significant influence on the customer's purchase decision on e-commerce platforms. For the methodology, it was based on a sample of 450 online surveys of people who buy on e-commerce platforms. In addition, the study aims to analyze the relationship between the variables mentioned above. Likewise, for the measurement scale, the Likert scale from 1 to 5 will be used, where 1 = I do not agree at all and 5 = I totally agree. Finally, for the corresponding statistical analysis, it will be evaluated using the two-step structural equation modeling (SEM) approach with the Smart PLS 3.0 software.
