People with disabilities comprise one of the most vulnerable groups within the population of Peru. Therefore, this research evaluates the possibility of designing a center that provides multidisciplinary services to facilitate their participation and integration in society. Currently, Lima has more than one million people who have some limitation related to movement (INEI, 2026). However, the city has only two establishments specialized in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation located in the southern and central-eastern areas of the city. Likewise, the establishments that provide physiotherapy and rehabilitation services only focus on medical methods and individual physical therapy, omitting social needs and limiting the integral development of patients. For this reason, the project seeks to design a Rehabilitation Center for people with Mobility Impairments in San Martín de Porres, considering the principles of multisensory architecture. In this way, the reintegration of people with disabilities is sought through a design with stimulating elements that promote interactions and facilitate the recovery process of patients.
