This research work exposes a new trend used by traditional media around the world to continue in force through social networks. To do this, the digital ecosystem proposes a new tool for the journalistic exercise that can be useful for the dissemination of its content: TikTok, the mobile platform that is increasingly conquering new audiences and that has established itself as one of the public's favorites in the last two years. Gradually, as it is a powerful window, different prestigious journalistic media, such as The New York Times or The Washington Post, have chosen to use this resource to reach their issuers. Our country has not been immune to this boom that is evident at the international level. For that reason, this exploration consists of analyzing four Peruvian television news outlets that have a TikTok profile to learn about their adaptation to the platform. The channels chosen to carry out the following study are: América Televisión, Latina, RPP Noticias and Exitosa Noticias. In this study, it will be analyzed in detail how Peruvian television media use one of the most popular social networks today to adapt their journalistic content and how they have respectively managed each of their profiles since its creation.
